Lanzarote plays host to the island’s first Music Marathon Festival this coming weekend.  When entrants of all abilities and age groups will gather to run, jog, skate or generally move their bodies to live music provided by a number of local acts.  Whilst also raising money for good causes.

This innovative event is being staged along the main Avenida de Las Playas on Saturday 31st October – turning the entire area in a real party zone and social street based event.  With a grand finale to be held in front of the Los Fariones Hotel from 21.00 onwards.

There are different courses for competitors to tackle with all of the action kicking off at midday.  Whilst musical accompaniment will be provided by local favourites such as the Naughty Boyz and the Mick James Band.
