21 October 2009 No Comment

The Islas Canarias Santa Surf Pro gets underway on Lanzarote in a couple of weeks time.  Attracting some of the leading riders from around the world.  Such as the latest American wunderkind of the waves Clay Marzo.

All of the action is taking place from November 1st to 7th at Playa San Juan.  Which is located at the opposite end of the village of Caleta de Famara from the huge main beach.  With the event starting at each day at around 10.00 hours.

75,000 dollars worth of prize money as well as much-coveted slots on the surf world’s senior world tour are up for grabs.  And the event also features a full programme of supporting activities, encompassing live music, skateboarding and a beach football competition.
