Impossible Dream Sets Sail From Lanzarote

Geoff Holt, the first quadriplegic to sail single handed around Great Britain is about to embark on his greatest challenge yet.  As he sets out from Lanzarote tomorrow in an attempt to sail single handed across the Atlantic. The first quadriplegic to attempt this crossing.

He will be piloting his 60ft catamaran the Impossible Dream solo for the 3000 mile journey.  Setting sail from Puerto Calero tomorrow at 10am bound for Tortola in the Virgin Islands.  And expects to hit dry land just after Christmas on December 27th.  Follow his progress online at www.geoffholt.com
