For the first time shops in Arrecife will be open across the weekend throughout much of December.  In a bid to attract both tourists and locals as the Christmas shopping season gets underway.

Throughout December shops in the capital will open during the morning and afternoon of each Saturday and will also open on the three Sundays between December 20th and January 3rd. In addition, Monday 7th December will also see numerous businesses open, despite the fact that this is normally a bank holiday when Constitution Day, 6th December, falls on a Sunday, as it does this year.

The date for forthcoming Rebajas or sales have also been released, with the January sales commencing on 7th January and running until 6th March.
