Jazz Canarias Hits Right Note in Teguise

7 July 2010 No Comment

Head for the former island capital of Teguise this Friday, July 9th, and soak up some cool jazz sounds. Courtesy of The Miguel Zenon Quartet and Sharrie Williams.  Who will both be performing free of charge at the annual Jazz Canarias Festival.  Which gets underway from 9pm onwards.

Miguel Zeon hails from Puerto Rico originally and is a highly acclaimed saxophonist. Whilst Sharrie Williams draws her inspiration from old school jazz vocalists such as Etta James and Aretha Franklin.  The concert is part of wider festival taking place across the Canaries and you can find out more by visiting the official Jazz Canarias website.
